Layer storage
Lower energy costs thanks to precisely defined temperature zones within rooms

Functionality
Requirements for production, storage and dispatch are constantly changing. For example, the use of production or storage areas for other purposes often means that only partial air conditioning or cooling is required. This means that – in high rooms, for example – cooling is only required at pallet height.
The layered storage system developed by PGH is based on the natural temperature gradient within a room, which is caused by differences in air density.
In stratified storage, this effect is used specifically to cool only certain areas or to create defined temperature zones within a room.
Around a third lower energy costs, 20% lower investment requirements and a precise definition of the temperature zones are, in short, the striking advantages of this PGH solution for such requirements and the corresponding rooms.
